Using XML to transport relational data

Using XML to transport relational data…I like the way the author’s setup for this chapter starts. He uses an imaginary person to setup the business case so that he can explain (in terms I can understand) how the relational data will use XML. This is another tough one to write about as there are many examples and there is also homework! Not to mention the scripts that can be downloaded for you to use with your examples.  The last three chapters were a great intro into XML for SQL and I have learned a lot about it. From the intro to XQuery to the frequently asked questions to using XML to transport data.  Have I mentioned how much I am really enjoying this book? I am starting to sound like a salesperson – you should buy this book…now. If you have the book and haven’t gotten to these chapters yet, you won’t be disappointed when you get there.

Thank you all for reading. Have a great rest of the week!
